How to remove Shortcut virus :

Now a days, pen drives are the most commonly used storage medium. The reason for this is they are small and convenient to carry and they are re-writable. Sometime we insert those pen drives in different systems for copying data or some other purposes. There are times when our files and folders stored in our drives shows in shortcuts, whenever we tries to access them an error comes showing that the shortcut is not found. This is because of the virus named shortcut virus, whenever shortcut virus attacks our usb all files and folders in our pen drives shows in the form of shortcuts only and  some people in a fear formats the drive in fear of shortcut virus and loses all the data. For this types of virus formatting is not necessary as we can easily remove the shortcut virus from the usb drive. There are few methods to remove shortcut virus and recover your data. The process i am going to tell doesn't need any software or antivirus or internet connection.
